When we found a house, it needed a lot of work to fit our family needs, in fact, it required a complete renovation inside. Randy took the time to understand what we wanted and followed through with flying colours. In October 2008 we approached Randy the owner of Forestwood Homes to see if he would take over our new home construction project. We had hired another contractor who started the Project in June 2008 and by November we had only had some of the framing completed and things we’re not going as expected.
Randy agreed to take it over and immediately knew what to get done with winter fast approaching. In addition Randy and his team completed a thorough review to ensure the work completed when they took over was up to code.
We informed Randy we we’re on a strict budget and he endeavoured to save us money without compromise on quality throughout the project.

In 2006 we purchased our home from Randy the owner of Forestwood Homes. We loved the homes emphasis on flow and layout as well as the quality finishes throughout. This was the first home built by Randy and as such we we’re concerned over the construction quality and accordingly we hired an independent home inspector to complete an inspection. The inspector did not find any issues with the homes construction and the home was rated exceptionally well built.
Now over 3 years later we have only great things to say about the home and Randy’s level of service.

We purchased our Forestwood Home in July 2009. We loved the floor layout, high end finishes and how the home fit right into the Old Oakville neighbourhood. It was clear that the builder paid close attention to all the details throughout the home and surrounding area.
At that time we purchased the home we had not heard of Forestwood Homes and although Tarion Warranty is included with our home, we chose to have our own independent Home Inspector complete a thorough inspection. We we’re extremely pleased to find out there we’re no deficiencies indicated from the inspection and the inspector commented on how well the home was built.
We have owned new homes prior to purchasing from Forestwood Homes and we expected there would be a few minor service calls. What we didn’t expect was the high level of Customer service that Randy and his team provided. Randy is always a phone call away and we have found he endeavours to solve any service calls efficiently and as effectively as possible.

Working with Randy has been a real pleasure. My wife and I were introduced to Randy when we were assessing various home construction options - build new or renovate. Considering building a custom home for the first time is a daunting task. However, Randy patiently spent a great deal of time & effort educating us on the process, requirements, materials, timing, among many other things. His ability to communicate effectively, track record in building fine homes and transparent approach to pricing completely won us over ... and we were not disappointed! However, due to our family needs, we ended up buying an existing home - one that required a finished basement. Due to the much smaller nature of the project, we were afraid that it might be "too small" for Randy's specialty: building custom homes. Fortunately, this was not case. Randy was happy to spend the time assessing the project, committing the resources and completing the job during an extremely tight window between the date we took possession and the closing date of the home we were moving from.
